This event is for beginner to intermediate users, from those who've never handled a camera to those who know their way around a camera and are looking to dive deep into capturing and editing the Moon. A small amount of hiking may be required to get to shooting locations.
As a Moon workshop, our main focus is on not just photographing the Moon - we'll be doing it in a variety of ways, including Moonscapes, the colorful Mineral Moon, lunar composites, and Moon timelapses.
We've got you covered! We combine a positive coaching style with hands-on experience to ensure you go home with the ability and confidence to capture the Moon on your own. We believe in you!
The location is near Bryce Canyon in Utah. If you're flying, Las Vegas Airport is the closest. If you need assistance with travel logistics, we're here to help. Accessing dark skies takes a bit of a drive - we promise it's worth it.

This time of year allows for myriad of beautiful targets for us to choose from, including the Andromeda Galaxy and the Orion Nebula.
As always, we schedule in a late morning and nap time in the afternoons to compensate for the late nights.
November 2nd - Saturday
We kick the event off at 4pm. We'll start with introductions, get you settled into your room, have our welcome party, and evening meal. Then we'll jump right in to the first group training session on the camera settings and how to use the trackers. We'll then head outside for our first night of capturing the universe.
November 3rd - Sunday
We always start with a lazy morning. You'll be greeted with your personalized coffee and a delicious brunch, then we'll head into our morning editing session, reviewing the data we took from our previous night. There's then time to relax and have a nap followed by a group dinner, wine tasting, then the evening we do our group training session and head out and shoot again.
November 4th - Monday
We'll be doing all the wonderful usual events during the day, but in the evening we'll be hosting a Meteor Shower and Night Sky Party!
During the peak of the Taurid meteor stream while our cameras are capturing the universe, we'll lay under the stars, enjoy smores, delicious desserts, Hot Cocoa & stories from ancient civilizations.
November 5th - Tuesday
After a relaxing morning, you'll wake up to your personalized coffee, and we'll be hosting a special goodbye breakfast, and group photoshoot.
Then we'll have time to complete all the data transfer, and make sure you're all up to date with the workbooks before we say our final goodbyes.
